HEALTHeCAREERS, a healthcare jobs site, recently examined the personal characteristics physician assistants need to land a job. According to their list, PAs need good social skills—since they spend so much time with patients—as well as attention to detail and the ability to think on their feet.
Here’s their list of the top five qualities PAs need to get hired:
- Observant and detail oriented
- Outgoing and confident
- Good problem solving and critical thinking skills
- Be able to work independently or in a group
